Blockscout

An open-source blockchain explorer with tools for inspecting and analyzing EVM-based chains — transaction search, account balances, smart contract interactions and analytics — supporting over 100 different chains.

Blockscout is the default explorer for a long tail of chains that will never build their own, which makes it infrastructure: flexible enough to be adopted wholesale, plain enough that a developer debugging a failed contract call and a user checking a transfer both find what they came for.

I worked on the product design across the explorer — the information hierarchy of the chain overview, block and transaction views, and the analytics that sit on top of them.

Brand

Two lock-ups, since the explorer is re-skinned by whoever deploys it — one for light chrome, one for the brand purple and any dark surface.

App

The explorer ships as a framework across more than 100 chains, so every screen had to survive being re-skinned and re-labelled by whoever deploys it. Both pages here are shown full length.
