Signals
A weekly gathering for people who are eager to experiment with new ideas, challenge their assumptions, and strengthen their critical thinking skills — a third space for personal and professional growth. Signals grew out of Curious, my community that brings people together around cultural events, talks and shows.
About Signals
Through monthly themes and weekly prompts we wrestle with ambiguity to explore meaning, cause and effect, and shine a light on the ways we think and act while resisting the urge to come to conclusions.
It's a space where you won't have all the answers — or even know the right questions. Confronting this uncertainty reveals possibilities you couldn't have imagined. It changes not just what you know, but also who you are.
Themes
06 June: Possibility
Possibility invites us to embrace change, take action, and build on what came before. This month, we explore how leaning on our strengths and each other empowers us to transform ideas into realities. Let's reach further, expand our horizons, and discover just how far possibility can take us.
In May, we explore what it means to reinvent ourselves and the places we live and work in. Renewals ask us to consider when it's time to let go and start fresh. How do we navigate resistance, reshape expectations, and welcome possibility over fear? We investigate how points of reference anchor us amidst change, enabling personal and collective transformation. This month, we honor the moments when we feel new and celebrate the courage required to discover who we truly wish to become.
04 April: Play
Play invites us to explore how lightness, spontaneity, and imagination help us lean into and master new and unexpected situations. We look at where play shows up in our lives, what it makes possible, and how it can open up space for connection, creativity, and even clarity.
03 March: Trust
In March we focus on the depth and breadth of our connections. Everything moves at the speed of trust, and we explore how we build and maintain close connections and what strong connection means.
